Final Year of the Type Two Design

1876-S $20 MS62 NGC. CAC. Final year of the Type Two design, the 1876-S is also one of the more frequently seen type coins, especially in high grades. This is a lovely piece for the grade that has thick, frosted mint luster and a strong strike. A few light alloy spots are scattered over each side along with a number of light and individually insignificant abrasions and luster grazes.(Registry values: N2998)
