Description

Attractive 1876-S Double Eagle, MS63
A Notable Condition Scarcity

1876-S $20 MS63 NGC. The relatively large mintage of 1.597 million pieces helps to make this issue easy to locate through the MS62 level of preservation. MS63s are scarce and higher grade specimens are quite rare. Lustrous peach-gold surfaces of this Select example display tints of light green and tan and uniformly struck devices. Scattered marks limit the grade, yet still attractive. Census: 64 in 63, 12 finer (11/09).(Registry values: N4719)
