Lustrous 1877 Twenty, MS62
1877 $20 MS62 PCGS. A splendid example of the first year Type Three Liberty double eagle with brilliant lemon-yellow luster and bold design definition. The surfaces are lightly abraded, preventing a higher grade. PCGS has only certified 14 finer examples of this important double eagle (10/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AY, PCGS# 8982, GSID# 9815)
