Description

Choice XF 1877-CC Twenty Dollar

1877-CC $20 XF45 NGC. It is not too difficult to locate an 1877-CC double eagle in Very Fine to About Uncirculated condition. Mint State pieces are elusive, however, and are virtually nonexistent above MS62. The honey-gold surfaces of this XF specimen display luster in the recesses and are nicely defined. Light surface and rim marks are noted over both sides.(Registry values: N1793)
