1877-CC $20 XF45 NGC. The initial Type Three Carson City double eagle issue, the 1877-CC has a mintage of 42,565 pieces. Despite this low figure, a number of repatriated pieces have entered the market, and the issue rates as one of the more available for the series. This luminous and well struck orange-gold piece has light, even wear and scattered marks across the surfaces. Slightly deeper color appears around the devices.(Registry values: N1793)
