Description

Flashy 1878 Twenty Dollar, MS61

1878 $20 MS61 PCGS. A great deal of "flash" greets the observer of this double eagle, which is somewhat unusual for an MS61. The vibrant peach-gold surfaces display considerable field-motif contrast, and the design elements are the recipient of a well executed strike. The piece has its share of evenly distributed ticks, but these are greatly overshadowed by the aforementioned attributes.(Registry values: N991)
