1882-S $20 MS62 NGC. Double eagle coinage at San Francisco reach more than 1.1 million coins in 1882, although surviving examples of this issue are seldom offered finer than the current MS62 piece. Vibrant prairie-gold luster adorns each side, providing cartwheel bands throughout a frosty luminance. A bold strike completes the visual appeal.(Registry values: N2998)
