Description
Well-Produced 1882-S Twenty, MS62
1882-S $20 MS62 PCGS. Better produced than most 1882-S twenties, the strike only wanes at the top of Liberty's hair curls. The surfaces are bright and exhibit rich orange-gold mint frost. A few small abrasions, most on the obverse, account for the grade. The 1882-S is exceedingly scarce in MS63, making a high-end MS62 such as this piece, an excellent value.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BG, PCGS# 8998, GSID# 9936)
