1883-CC $20 AU58 NGC. CAC. Although the luster appears unbroken, careful inspection reveals a trace of friction on the cheek. Certainly high end, since the surfaces lack the bagmarks usually associated with momentarily circulated double eagles. Another low mintage Carson City issue, as fewer than 60,000 pieces were struck.(Registry values: N1793)
