Uncirculated 1883-CC Twenty, MS62 PCGS
1883-CC $20 MS62 PCGS. The 1883-CC is a relatively high mintage Carson City Double Eagle with 59,962 pieces produced. And although some 900-1,000+ coins are still extant in all grades, it is surprisingly scarce in mint condition with only 65-75 examples believed to exist today. Sharply defined throughout, the surfaces are dusky orange-gold with slightly subdued mint luster and typical abrasions for the grade. A small alloy spot is also detected at the lower right portion of the reverse.
