1883-S $20 MS63 NGC. As so many Type Three S-mint Liberty Head issues, the 1883-S is available up to the MS62 level, but Select examples are rare. It is most especially the relative absence of distracting marks that puts this piece over the top, coupled with a sharp strike, attractive orange-gold surfaces, and excellent eye appeal. Some minor grease stains, as made, appear near the reverse border. NGC has certified five coins finer (9/09).(Registry values: N2998)
