Lustrous 1883-S Select Twenty Dollar

1883-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Brass-gold color is visible in the centers of this Select double eagle, while a lime gold hue can be seen in the low points and peripheries. Well struck, as is usual for this date, which is generally considered obtainable only in grades up to MS62. The surfaces are fully lustrous and show a minimum of distracting marks. Fewer than 15 pieces have been certified finer, all MS64s.(Registry values: N2998)
