1884-CC $20 AU55 NGC. The 1884-CC double eagle mintage is a plentiful one by standards of the Carson City Mint, at more than 80,000 coins struck, but examples are rare in MS63. This distinctive Choice AU example shows moderately abraded orange-yellow surfaces, with a bit of struck-in die grease below the chin.(Registry values: N1793)
