Pleasing Select 1885-S Twenty
1885-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Like many of its brethren, this piece is a condition rarity with satiny luster and crimson-gold color. The surfaces have scattered marks as expected for the grade. Despite an adequately large mintage, few high quality pieces have survived as most went into circulation at the time of issue. PCGS has only examined 29 finer examples of this date (7/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BP, PCGS# 9005, GSID# 9942)
