Lovely 1887-S Double Eagle, MS62
1887-S $20 MS62 PCGS. Pale wheat-gold surfaces take on yellow and orange attributes where the storage patina is strongest. The whole is delightfully lustrous, and though a number of abrasions cross the surfaces, the coin remains fundamentally appealing. PCGS has certified 60 finer examples (7/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BS, PCGS# 9007, GSID# 9943)
