Bright MS62 1887-S Twenty
1887-S $20 MS62 PCGS. The 1887-S is a lower mintage S-mint twenty with only 283,000 pieces produced. The MS62 level is generally the finest grade available (and affordable) for most collectors. Only 71 pieces have been certified by the two major services in MS63 with four finer (one of which is an MS65). This is a sharply struck example with bright yellow-gold surfaces. Numerous small abrasions are scattered over the obverse but few are seen on the reverse.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BS, PCGS# 9007, GSID# 9943)
