1887-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Repunched Mintmark. This example displays a myriad of attractive toning with deep harvest-gold, soft silver, and orange-gold luster. The strike is exceptional with phenomenal sharpness displayed on the hair as well as the tail feathers. There are some minor abrasions intermingled with reed marks somewhat prominently on the obverse. There is decent survival in MS63, but the date is scarce finer. PCGS Population: 87 in 63 (2 in 63+), 5 finer (4/26).
