Description
Sharply Struck 1889 Double Eagle, MS62
1889 $20 MS62 NGC. CAC. As evident from NGC and PCGS population figures the 1889 twenty is scarce in most grades. The typical collector is unlikely to encounter coins above the MS62 level, the condition of the present offering. Lustrous yellow-gold surfaces exhibit sharply struck design elements. Scattered light marks, while defining the grade, are neither plentiful nor intense. All in all, nice eye appeal for the designated grade.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2695, PCGS# 9010, GSID# 9824)
