Description

1889 Twenty Dollar, MS62
Smooth Original Surfaces

1889 $20 MS62 PCGS. Unimpactful handling marks on Liberty's cheek limit the numeric grade, but most of this Mint State 1889 double eagle is smooth, luminous, and attractively mark-free. Rich orange-gold patina adorns the coin, and overall quality for the grade is excellent. PCGS and NGC combined list only a few dozen numerically finer representatives (4/24).(Registry values: N2998)
