Appealing AU53 1889-CC Double Eagle
1889-CC $20 AU53 NGC. As with silver dollars, the 1889-CC double eagle is the first of the denomination from Carson City since the 1885-CC coins. Scattered light abrasions define the grade of this piece, but they are minor, and the yellow-gold surfaces retain lots of luster and considerable eye appeal.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BV, PCGS# 9011, GSID# 9945)
