1889-CC $20 AU55 NGC. Though it is not so celebrated a rarity as its Morgan dollar counterpart, the 1889-CC double eagle actually has less than one-tenth the mintage. This Choice AU coin is attractive for the grade with ample yellow-gold luster across each side and strongly struck, minimally abraded devices that show only trifling wear.
