Elusive Select Unc. 1889-CC Double Eagle
1889-CC $20 MS63 PCGS. Bright, satiny luster over both sides with a modest number of small abrasions scattered over the fields and devices. A pair of twin facial marks are small and not particularly offensive, but would be useful for future attribution. There is a slight reddish tinge to the surfaces and a hint of yellow at the rims. Among Carson City Twenties, the 1889-CC is one of the few issues that can occasionally be located in Uncirculated, but most are heavily abraded MS 60 to MS 61 examples.
