Description

    1890 Double Eagle, MS62
    Seldom Located in Higher Grades

1890 $20 MS62 PCGS. The 1890 is a lower-mintage issue and much scarcer than its S-mint counterpart. The availability of Uncirculated examples usually tops out at the MS62 level. This example displays golden-tan patina that rests over the lustrous surfaces of this sharply struck double eagle. Myriad obverse luster grazes define the grade.
