Description

1890 Liberty Twenty, MS63
Conditionally Rare, Only Five Finer

1890 $20 MS63 NGC. A modest mintage of 75,940 coins was sufficient to provide today's collectors with lower grade Mint State survivors, but it was still low enough to create a condition rarity. Such is the case at the Select Mint State level as the population shows. This piece has dark greenish patina on its frosty lemon-yellow surfaces with minor abrasions on each side. Census: 16 in 63, 5 finer (4/11).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26BX, PCGS# 9013, Greysheet# 9825)

Weight: 33.44 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
