1890-CC $20 AU55 PCGS. A popular issue due to its status among the last of the CC-mint double eagles, and more plentiful than the 1889 or 1891-93 issues of Carson City. This Choice AU example offers attractive antique-gold coloration with minimal contact and light high-point rub consistent with the grade. There are fewer marks than normally seen on CC-mint gold, however, and the bold strike is another plus.(Registry values: N1793)
