Description

Attractive 1890-CC Double Eagle

1890-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. After a three-year intermission, the Carson City Mint began striking Morgan dollars and Liberty double eagles in 1889, and continued producing the same two denominations in 1890. This piece is housed in a green label PCGS holder. It is an exceptional example for the grade, with rich green-gold luster and dark patina highlighting the obverse.
