Impressive MS61 1890-CC Double Eagle
1890-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. The year 1890 saw a production of 91,209 double eagles at the Carson City Mint. The yellow-gold surfaces of the current offering are imbued with hints of mint-green and exhibit sharply impressed design motifs. Nearly complete luster shows on both sides, each of which is lightly marked. The PCGS holder has a green insert. Population: 68 in 61, 45 finer (9/09).From The E.J.
