Description
Sharply Struck 1890-CC Twenty Dollar, MS61
1890-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. A well executed strike emboldens the design elements of this MS61 twenty dollar. Honey-gold surfaces display occasional sky-blue and lavender accents and retain ample luster. A peripheral crack encircles most of the reverse. Housed in a green label holder. Carson City Mint specialist Rusty Goe (2003) estimates that 225 to 300 1890-CC double eagles have survived in Uncirculated grades. From The E.J.
