Description
Bright 1890-CC MS61 Double Eagle
1890-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. Bright brassy-gold surfaces yield a modest amount of field-motif contrast and are sharply defined, including the obverse stars which are often weak on this issue. Minute scuffs limit the grade. Encapsulated in a green label holder. Rusty Goe (2003) puts the survival rate for '90-CC twenties at between 2.8% and 3.3%.From The E.J.
