Description

1890-S Twenty Dollar Liberty, MS64
Frosty, Peach-Gold Surfaces

1890-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Medium S. More than 800,000 double eagles were struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1890. A sizeable number survive in Mint State and can be found, with patience, up to this near-Gem grade level. Anything finer becomes rare. Frosty mint luster swirls over peach-gold surfaces. The strike is fully impressed on each side. An eye-appealing, well-preserved Liberty Head twenty.(Registry values: N7079)
