Description
1891-S Double Eagle, MS63
Collectible Mint State Example
1891-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Vibrant cartwheel luster adorns each
side with warm sun-gold and straw-yellow hues. The fields have only
minimal abrasions, while a few shallow scrapes on Liberty's
portrait limit the grade. Still, MS63 is a strong grade for the
1891-S issue, as finer pieces may be out of reach for many
collectors. Sharp definition spans the relief elements on each
side.(Registry values: N2998)From The Lockhart Collection, Part III.
