Description
Boldly Struck 1891-S Liberty Twenty, MS63
1891-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Minute S. From a large mintage of nearly 1.3 million pieces, the 1891-S Liberty Head double eagle is easily located in grades up to MS63, but is decidedly scarce in any higher grade. The present coin features a sharp strike, with bold detail on the hair and eagle's feathers. The surfaces are a pleasing peach-gold, enhanced by shades of crimson.
