Description
1892 Twenty Dollar, MS61
Low-Mintage Philadelphia Rarity
Only 4,430 Circulation Strikes
1892 $20 MS61 PCGS. With only 4,430 circulation strikes
produced, the 1892 Liberty twenty has a low surviving population of
only 150 to 200 pieces remaining in all grades combined. Mint State
examples are especially scarce. PCGS and NGC have certified roughly
60 Uncirculated examples in total -- some of which are undoubtedly
resubmitted or crossover coins. The present MS61 example ranks
among the most frequently encountered grade among Uncirculated
examples. Vibrant orange-gold color flows throughout both sides,
while the original sharp strike survives despite numerous abrasions
and marks as are typically seen at this grade level. PCGS
