Description

Bright Orange-Gold 1892-CC Twenty, AU50

1892-CC $20 AU50 PCGS. Although in the shadow of the rare 1891-CC double eagle, the 1892-CC is a challenging Carson City issue in its own right. Just 27,265 pieces were struck, a fraction of the production at San Francisco that year. This sharp example has noticeable luster and only a few relevant marks, mostly located in Liberty's hair and on the right obverse field.(Registry values: N1793)
