Description

Attractive 1892-CC Double Eagle, MS61

1892-CC $20 MS61 NGC. While the 1892-CC is no longer considered to be as rare as once believed, it remains scarce, especially in high grades, with a mintage of just 27,265 pieces. This example is exceptionally sharp at the centers, and only a couple of stars show minor weakness. A number of light grazes define the grade, but they barely affect the eye-catching reflectivity. NGC has certified only 41 pieces finer (8/08).
