Elusive 1893-CC AU58 Prooflike Double Eagle
1893-CC $20 AU58 Prooflike NGC. This low-mintage final-year Carson City twenty is among the most readily available double eagles from this mint. Coins with Prooflike fields, however, are elusive. This AU58 Prooflike specimen has flashy fields with just a whisper of wear on Liberty's hair, eyebrow, and cheek. Only a few marks are noticeable, and they are in peripheral areas.
