Favored 1893-CC Double Eagle, MS61
1893-CC $20 MS61 NGC. The Carson City Mint struck just 18,402 double eagles in 1893 before its coinage operations were shut down for good. This solidly struck Mint State example has distinctive yellow-orange color with prominent rose-violet alloy at the upper and left obverse.
