Description
Popular 1893-CC Double Eagle, MS61 PCGS
1893-CC $20 MS61 PCGS. Although the '93-CC is one of the more available dates among Carson City twenties, it still holds a certain fascination because of its low mintage of only 18,402 pieces, and its status as the final year of issue from this popular Western mint. This example exhibits honey-gold patina, and is well struck. Some light to moderate abrasions are noted on Liberty's face.(#9023) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26C9, PCGS# 9023, GSID# 9953)
