Very Rare in Higher Grades
1895-S $20 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Examples of the 1895-S are very
scarce but accessible through MS64. Anything finer is truly rare. A
pinpoint impression includes full centers and radials on the stars,
crisply delineated hair strands and curls, and boldly detailed
feathers. Smooth, yellow and rose-gold surfaces radiate glimmering
frost. There are merely nine finer submissions at PCGS and a single
coin finer with CAC approval (1/17).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CE, PCGS# 9028, Greysheet# 9956)
