Description
Charming 1897 Double Eagle, MS64
1897 $20 MS64 PCGS. Although the 1897 double eagle is a common issue in most grades, Choice examples are scarce, and only a select few are available in Gem. Rose and yellow patina graces the surfaces of this sharply struck representative. A couple of light grazes barely affect the flow of the pleasing cartwheel luster. An excellent pre-1900 type coin.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CH, PCGS# 9031, GSID# 9832)
