1897-S Double Eagle, MS64
A Pleasing Example for the Grade
1897-S $20 MS64 NGC. Well-struck and intensely lustrous,
this lightly toned example reveals strong undertones of lime-green
in the fields. A hair-thin pinscratch extends vertically through
Liberty's upper hair curls. Although found in large numbers in
grades up to MS63, near-Gem and finer pieces are
