1898-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Although the 1898-S is not scarce in the absolute sense, like many S-Mint Type Three double eagles it is seldom seen in Gem condition. This causes added demand for Choice specimens from both type collectors and series specialists. Flashy cartwheel luster radiates from this yellow-gold piece.
