1899 Double Eagle, Fully Struck MS65
1899 $20 MS65 NGC. An exceptionally well-produced and carefully preserved double eagle, with a radiant-orange glow beneath the frosted surfaces. Olive-gold accents flash with the rolling luster under direct light. The surfaces are smooth and unabraded, complemented by fully struck motifs. Just three coins are certified numerically finer by PCGS and NGC combined. Census: 77 in 65, 2 finer (8/15).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CM, PCGS# 9035, Greysheet# 9834)
