1899 $20 MS65 NGC. Beautiful satin luster glistens across untouched fields and sharp devices on this Gem 1899 Liberty double eagle. Each side displays rich peach-gold color and delightful eye appeal. The 1899 is scarce in MS65, although examples are seen often enough to make the date popular as a type coin. NGC and PCGS combined have seen only three finer specimens. Census: 127 in 65 (3 in 65+), 2 finer (9/20).(Registry values: N4719)
