Description
Gorgeous 1900-S Double Eagle, MS64
1900-S $20 MS64 PCGS. With a mintage of over 2.4 million pieces, it is hardly surprising that the 1900-S double eagle has survived in quantity, and coins in the lower Mint State grades are readily accessible. Choice examples such as the present piece are scarce, however, and anything finer a rarity. Strong yellow-gold luster has orange overtones, and though a few abrasions are noted at Liberty's neck and in the fields, the surfaces show more trivial luster grazes than actual marks. From The Vision Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
