Description
1901 $20 MS63 ANACS. The 1901 double eagle is a fairly low-mintage issue, although the Philadelphia Mint struck more than 1.7 million ten dollar pieces that year. Both sides show only light marks, and a violet alloy spot near the right (facing) claw is of mint origin.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CS, PCGS# 9039, GSID# 9836)
