Description

1901-S Double Eagle, MS63+
Frosted Peach-Gold Surfaces

1901-S $20 MS63+ PCGS. CAC. Rich, frosty mint luster typical of S-mint coins from this period washes over scintillating peach-gold surfaces. Full centers are noted on the stars, and the hair strands are well-delineated. Light chatter primarily in the obverse field barely holds this coin back from achieving a scarcely offered Choice assessment.(Registry values: N2998)
