Well Struck 1901-S Select Double Eagle

1901-S $20 MS63 PCGS. The 1901-S double eagle is fairly abundant through the MS62 level of preservation. Select coins are more difficult, near-Gems are scarce, and finer examples are very rare. The yellow-gold surfaces of this lustrous MS63 coin are tinted with mint-green and apricot, and exhibit well struck design elements. Light marks limit the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
