Description
1901-S Liberty Twenty, MS64+
Nice Color and Luster
1901-S $20 MS64+ PCGS Secure. CAC. Despite a substantial
mintage of more than 1.5 million pieces, the 1901-S Liberty double
eagle is a scarce issue in MS64 condition, and finer coins are very
rare. This Plus-graded Choice specimen displays vivid orange-gold
surfaces that are minimally marked for the grade, with vibrant mint
luster and well-detailed design elements. PCGS has graded only two
numerically finer examples (1/18).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CT, PCGS# 9040, Greysheet# 9962)
