Description

Lustrous 1902-S Select Double Eagle

1902-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Much of the 1902-S double eagle mintage was sent to Europe or South America for international trade, and many have since returned, making the date easy to obtain in XF to MS62 grades (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). The lustrous, honey-gold surfaces of this MS63 example exhibit well struck design features. A scattering of minute marks limits the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
